Explanation of each line in written in bold- The little house out with a little new shed in front at the edge of the road where the traffic sped-There is a small house at edge of the road, road where traffic (people) passes speedily.
- A roadside stand that too pathetically pled,The financial condition is too weak, they are desperate to earn money to survive.
- It would not be fair to say for a dole of bread,They are not begging for money but in exchange of their products.
- But for some of the money the cash, whose flow supports the flower of cities from sinking and withering faint.They want money because it is crucial for living life, to survive, and money of cities can save their roadside stand from collapsing.
- The polished traffic passed with a mind ahead, or if ever aside a moment, then out of sortsThe city people never sees at them even if, they get irritated of them (roadside stand)
- At having the landscape marred with the artless paintget irritated because due to their ugly roadside stand is blocking a view of beautiful landscape.

- You have the money, but if you want to be mean, why keep your money and go along.If they (city people) have lot of money, why do they keep it with themselves (why don't they buy something from roadside stands), what will they do with this much money.
- The hurt to the scenery wouldn't be my complaint.Poet says that he is not complaining that these roadside stands hurt the scenery.
- So much as the trusting sorrow of what is unsaid, here far from the city we make our roadside stand and ask for some city money to feel.The people who open their stand with the hope that, someone will stop and buy something from them. (This is the most painful thing for poet)
- And give us the life of the moving-pictures' promiseThey only want to feel money in their hands with the hope that their life will also be like that shown in movies.

- It is in the news that all these pitiful kin are to be bought out and mercifully gathered in to live in villages, next to the theatre and the store, where they won't have to think for themselves anymore,It is shown in news that poor people will be taken out of are pathetic life and will be provided all facilities to us.
- While greedy good-doers, beneficent beasts of prey, swarm over their lives enforcing benefits that are calculated to soothe them out of their wits,They make poor people feel like they are getting benefited but schemes are made in such a way that only politicians are getting benefits. If they need to then they can also treat them like animals.
- And by teaching them how to sleep they sleep all day, destroy their sleeping at night the ancient way.They promise them that they do not have to do hard work they can sleep all day. But they never fulfill them and destroys their sleep.

- The thought of so much childish longing in vain, the sadness that lurks near the open window there, that waits all day in almost open prayer for the squeal of brakes, the sound of a stopping car, of all the thousand selfish cars that pass, just one to inquire what a farmer's prices are.The wait at windows hoping that someone will stop and buy something from them, if they do not buy at least should stop to inquire the price at which they are selling.
- And one did stop, but only to plow up grass in using the yard to back and turn around; and another to ask the way to where it was bound and another to ask could they sell it a gallon of gas they couldn't; they had none, didn't it see?One stopped but take a turn, another car stops only to ask that where do this road goes, third car stops and asks that do they sell a gallon of gas. In anger they say they do not sell gas, can't you see. They were in anger because they can't afford it.
- No in country money, the country scale of gain, the requisite lift of spirit has never been found, or so the voice of the country seems to complain,
- I can't help owning the great relief it would be to put these people at one stroke out of their pain.The author says He can't see their plight anymore. How happy and relaxed they would feel if he could solve their problems in a snap of fingers
- And then next day as I come back into the sane, I wonder how I should like you to come to me and offer to put me gently out of my pain.But next day his mind came back to reality and wants everybody to help him to relief his pain, one can give him relief only if he/she buy their product and take them out of their problems.
